Our engineering team in Munich is looking for an Android Mastermind to join us on technical projects with European OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers related to the integration of US satellite radio content.

An experienced, self-starter and customer-focused Senior Android Developer to take on various tasks on behalf of clients:

Do you have a few years of programming experience and are looking for the next challenge? Are you looking for an exciting environment where you can express your multi-faceted personality?

In your new role, you will be the interface between the product and its integration into various vehicle architectures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the product – Android Middleware
  • Further development of the product – role: mastermind / idea generator
  • Integration of the product into the vehicle environment – as well as mutual adaptation to enable error-free cooperation – role: problem solver
  • Analysis and testing during integration – Role: Sherlock Holmes
  • On-site assignments (Europe, USA, Asia) are possible in rare cases.

How do you know that the job is right for you.

You know Android, preferably Android in the automotive environment.

You have been specifying, programming and implementing for a long time and now you want to take over your own project. Slip into the role of our Android Mastermind and juggle with different European OEMs at the same time. In doing so, you will be independently responsible for organizing your work, communicating and reporting to clients.

What you bring with you:

  • Completed studies in the field of computer science, software engineering, app development or comparable studies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive software development, especially with Android Automotive
  • Experience in Kotlin / Java
  • Experience with Android Studio
  • Practical experience with Gradle as well as with Android SDK and NDK
  • Practical experience in the integration of C++ in Kotlin / Java
